  • Defence and security company Saab has just completed a successful two-day seminar in Brussels to explore potential co-operation and partnerships with Belgian companies active in the aeronautics sector. This initiative follows a broader outreach initiated by Saab with the Belgian aeronautic industry in the context of the Air Combat Capability Successor Program to which Saab’s Gripen is a candidate.

  • Defence and security company Saab has signed a contract with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for the development and production of Torpedo Integration Systems (TIS) for the Swedish Navy´s A26 submarines. The order also includes upgrade of existing systems on the Visby-class corvettes and Gotland-class submarines. Deliveries will take place during the period 2017-2020.

     
  • Defence and security company Saab’s U.S. based company, Saab Defense and Security USA, LLC., has been awarded a contract from Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) for additional components and subsystems of the U.S. Marine Corps AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) system. The funded value of the contract is $18.6 Million (166 MSEK).

     
  • Saab Receives Order for Carl-Gustaf M4

    Defence and security company Saab has signed a contract for deliveries of the new Carl-Gustaf M4 multi-role weapon system. This is Saab´s fourth customer for the system since its launch in late 2014. Deliveries will take place during 2017.

     
  • Defence and security company Saab will attend the 10th Exponaval – International Naval and Maritime Exhibition and Conference for Latin America. The event will be held from November 29 to December 2, 2016, at the Concón Naval Air Station in Viña del Mar, Chile.

     
  • Defence and security company Saab and Embraer Defense & Security have today inaugurated the Gripen Design and Development Network (GDDN) in Gavião Peixoto, in the state of São Paulo. The GDDN will be the hub for the Gripen NG technology development in Brazil for Saab and Embraer together with the Brazilian partner industries and institutions, AEL Sistemas, Atech, Akaer and the Brazilian Air Force, through its research department DCTA.

    The defence and security company Saab has received an order for new laser simulators from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). The order value is MSEK 95 and deliveries will be made during 2017.

     
  • Defence and Security company Saab has received three orders from the U.S. Army Program Executive Office of Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEOSTRI). Saab will now provide OSAG 2.0 interoperability upgrades for the U.S. 7th ATC’s Deployable Instrumentation System – Europe (DISE) and the Combat Vehicle Tactical Engagement Simulation System (CVTESS) to meet U.S. Army and European forward deployment interoperability requirements.
