  • Saab Signs Contracts for A26 Submarines and Mid-life Upgrade for Gotland-class Submarines

    Defence and security company Saab has signed contracts with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for the construction of two new Type A26 submarines and a mid-life upgrade for two Gotland-class submarines. The orders, signed with FMV today, cover the period 2015-2024 and the total order value is SEK8.6 billion.

    Defence and security company Saab has received an SEK270 million order for the delivery of RBS 70 missiles and additional equipment and training. Deliveries will occur between 2015 and 2016.

  • Saab Issues 5 Year Floating Rate Note

    Today, defence and security company Saab (SAAB B) issued a 5 year Floating Rate Note (FRN) under the existing Medium Term Note programme (MTN). The FRN amounts to MSEK 425, with maturity on 22 May 2020. The programme’s total size is SEK 3 billion and in total Saab has issued SEK 2.425 billion under the programme.

    Defence and security company Saab has received an SEK120 million order, from an undisclosed customer, for datalink systems. The order has been placed with Saab business area Electronic Defence Systems in Gothenburg. Deliveries will occur between 2015 and 2018.

    Defence and security company Saab has received an order for the production and delivery of camouflage equipment from the US Army. Deliveries will occur over the next six months.

    Defence and security company Saab has signed a SEK127 million (corresponding to MEUR13.6) contract with the European Defence Agency (EDA) to deliver Carl-Gustaf ammunition to Agency member states Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic and Poland. Deliveries will take place during 2016.
