  • Defence and security company Saab has successfully delivered its first doors from the Door Plug 3 work package to Airbus’ Final Assembly Line in Hamburg. The delivery is part of a contract from March 2015.

    Defence and security company Saab will be taking to the sky over Dubai with the Gripen fighter appearing at the Dubai Airshow 12-16 November 2017, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Saab is exhibiting at Stand 540, whilst a Gripen aircraft will be on static display outside the exhibition hall.

    Defence and security company Saab announces that the Gripen E smart fighter flew supersonic for the first time. The aircraft broke the sound barrier over the Baltic Sea on the 18th October.

    Defence and security company Saab will display its latest technologically advanced and innovative solutions in naval systems at the Pacific 2017 exhibition in Australia 3-5 October 2017. Saab’s naval showcase will feature at stand 1H10 in Hall 1 at the International Convention Centre, Sydney.

     
  • The Irish Army has conducted a live firings exercise with RBS 70 and the latest generation of the system, RBS 70 NG. The purpose of the firings were to enhance their soldiers operational capability to engage both aerial and static targets. The firings took place at the Bofors Test Center in Karlskoga, Sweden.
