  • Saab Receives Order for Giraffe 1X

  • Defense and security company Saab has signed a contract for maintenance of the Armed Forces’ telecommunications net for 2017-2018. The contracts is signed with the Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV) and concerns the maintenance of the Swedish Armed Forces’ telecommunications net, as well as planning, installation, and operational start-up. The contract was signed in June 2017.

  • Defence and security company Saab’s IP-based voice security mechanism, called Voice Stream Interceptor (VSI), has been certified by the Norwegian Certification Authority for IT Security, (SERTIT). The VSI meets the strict Common Criteria requirements at an Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 5+ and is the first IP-based voice security mechanism in the world to achieve certification at this high assurance level.

  • Defence and security company Saab has signed a framework contract with the Norwegian Defence Material Agency (NDMA) for deliveries of ammunition for the Carl-Gustaf man-portable weapon system. In connection with the award of the contract, the NDMA has issued an initial order for ammunition with a total value of SEK 68 million. Deliveries will take place during the period 2017-2018.

    Defence and security company Saab will be exhibiting its formidable range of products at the Defence Security and Equipment International (DSEI) exhibition, London, England, at stand N2-230, from the 12 to 15 September. Saab’s stand will exhibit its innovative thinking through demonstrations, mini-talks, press briefings and a new format called Saab Insight on a big screen.

     
  • Defence and security company Saab and Indian infrastructure conglomerate Adani Group today announce a collaboration plan within aerospace and defence in India, aligned with the Government of India’s Make in India initiative. The intended collaboration would encompass design, development and production of Gripen for India and other high-tech products of national importance for India and also the creation of joint ventures in India in line with and in support of the Make In India policy.
