  • Defence and security company Saab has received an order from the Naval Port Gdynia, Poland, for the maintenance and logistic support of the Polish Navy’s RBS15 Mk3 surface-to-surface missile system with deliveries taking place 2017-2018.

     
  • Defence and security company Saab has signed a contract extension with the United Kingdom’s (UK) Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the provision of Support and Services to the Direct Fire Weapon Effects Simulator (DFWES) capability. The three year extension has a value of MSEK245 and comes into effect during 2017. The order will be booked in the first quarter 2017.

  • Defence and security company Saab today at LAAD International Defence & Security Exhibition presented the latest developments in its Gripen NG Programme for Brazil. The new developments included an announcement on the first aircraft for the Brazilian Air Force and that the development of the two-seat version has already begun in Brazil. Saab also confirmed extended cooperation with a number of Brazilian companies.

    Defence and security company Saab has signed a contract with the Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV) for the development and production of the next generation anti-ship missile system. The total order value amounts to SEK3.2 billion and deliveries will take place during the period 2017-2026.

     
  • Saab at LAAD 2017

    Defense and security company Saab will attend the 2017 LAAD International Defence and Security exhibition to display its broad portfolio of land, air and sea solutions. In addition to the full-size Gripen NG fighter replica and simulator, the visitors will learn about the various systems for naval defence, such as the MCMV - mine countermeasures vessel - and the Visby class corvette; for air defence, such as the RBS 70 NG; and for surveillance, such as the Erieye AEW&C. LAAD takes place from April 04 to 07, at the Riocentro exhibition center, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).

     
  • Defence and security company Saab has received an order from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) to provide operational and development support for Gripen during 2017. The total order value is SEK 375 million.

     
  • Defence and security company Saab and Loomis Group have signed a global framework agreement for the use of Saab’s TRACK and TRACE system. The agreement is signed for seven years.
