  • Defence and security company Saab will showcase its New Lightweight Torpedo at this year´s Undersea Defence Technology (UDT) exhibition in Bremen, Germany on 30 May- 1 June. This will be the first time Saab demonstrates the system, ordered by the Swedish Defence Material Administration in 2016, to the global defence market.

    Defence and security company Saab has signed a contract within the Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) segment. The order value amounts to SEK1.35 billion. Deliveries will be made from 2017 until 2020. The order is expected to be booked by Saab within the coming 6 months.

  • The U.S. Army´s 2nd Cavalry Regiment, stationed in Vilsek, Germany, is now evaluating Saab’s Barracuda Mobile Camouflage System (MCS) on their Stryker fighting vehicles. This is the first field evaluation of the MCS conducted by the U.S. Army.

  • Defence and security company Saab has received an order from the Naval Port Gdynia, Poland, for the maintenance and logistic support of the Polish Navy’s RBS15 Mk3 surface-to-surface missile system with deliveries taking place 2017-2018.

     
  • Defence and security company Saab has signed a contract extension with the United Kingdom’s (UK) Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the provision of Support and Services to the Direct Fire Weapon Effects Simulator (DFWES) capability. The three year extension has a value of MSEK245 and comes into effect during 2017. The order will be booked in the first quarter 2017.

  • Defence and security company Saab today at LAAD International Defence & Security Exhibition presented the latest developments in its Gripen NG Programme for Brazil. The new developments included an announcement on the first aircraft for the Brazilian Air Force and that the development of the two-seat version has already begun in Brazil.
