Aerospace Forum was arranged jointly by the Swedish Armed Forces, Linköping municipality and Saab and gathered customers, politicians, partners and suppliers to seminars and an air show.

The conference opened with a seminar programme on “Technologies” focusing on trends, challenges and advantages with technology development, with a parallel session on environment and climate. Next day the International Air Power Conference arranged by the Swedish Armed Forces took by, with a seminar programme on “Doctrines” focusing on a small state's contribution to regional and global security – from the present to the future, with a special emphasis on an aerospace perspective. In parallel, a session on space and the exploration of space as an engine for creation was held.

The grand finale of the seminars was the Aerospace Forum VIP Air Show where all Saab-employees and their families were invited. Over 16 000 thousand people visited the air show and enjoyed spectacular airshows. Among the highlights was a formation flight with the Saab-aircraft Gripen, Viggen, Lansen, Tunnan, Sk60 and Draken. The reason why all Saab-employees were invited to the air show was of course Saab’s 75th anniversary.
