Swiss Small and Medium-sized Enterprises meet leading software researchers from Saab, Ericsson, IBM, ABB, Nagravision, ZHAW, ETH, Chalmers University of Technology, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH).
The Innovative Software Networking Conference takes place on 21 February at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur from 8.30 h to 18.00 h at Technikumstr. 9
We invite you to meet Stefan Andersson, Head of Product Creation at Saab. For many years he was one of the brains behind the Gripen development, a fighter about which he says
“The Gripen is actually a flying computer. Software has become one of the most important features of aircraft today. It is actually made of and made by software. It has become a tool for development and is an enabler of critical applications such as flight control and mission planning.”
Saab is an international player not only in the defence sector but also in the field of security.
Tommy Eklund, Head of Business and Product Development at Saab Business Area Defence and Security Systems, presents the world’s most advanced prison control system as well as a single crisis management platform that can replace the many emergency phone numbers that many countries still have for different emergency situations.
Other speakers include
- Johan Carlsten and Professor Jan Bosch, both from the Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.
- Professor Bertrand Mayer, Chair of Sofware Engineering, ETH Zurich.
While this is not a media event, journalists interested in attending the networking conference are welcome. Please contact the organizers:
