Saab rings Nasdaq Closing Bell

On Wednesday at 3.45 pm EST (21.45 CET) Saab will receive the honor of ringing the closing bell at the NASDAQ Stock Exchange in New York.

In 1998 Saab was first listed on the NASDAQ OMX Stock Exchange. Saab’s listing has been influential in the company’s success, enabling it to develop its business and global brand.

Saab has been a valuable contributor to the United States homeland security for over 40 years, working hand in hand with US forces both at home and abroad.

The United States market of defence and security remains of great importance for Saab. Its recent partnership with Boeing to develop a new advanced, cost-efficient training solution for the U.S. Air Force is an example of this. In addition, earlier this year the United States Army selected Saab’s weapon system Carl-Gustaf to be Program of Record. This is a testament to the quality of the product, but also, an indication of Saab’s long-term commitment as a partner to the United States Armed Forces.
