Saab Australia is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for their Civil Solutions team to assist in the identification and pursuit of opportunities in the integrated security solutions market, focusing on Government, Defence and Critical Infrastructure.
What you will be part of
Saab’s security management systems offer integration of a wide range of third party and customer preferred subsystems including CCTV access control, intercoms, perimeter detection, duress and intruder detection. Each solution is tailored to meet specific customer needs and provides effective insurance against evolving requirements and future technology changes.
In this position, you will be required to contribute to the identification and pursuit of opportunities in the integrated security solutions market, focusing on Government, Defence and Critical Infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with the market area (BD) personnel, the Sales Manager and technical sales support personnel to ensure effective outcomes.
Engagement with security consultant and security sub-system product suppliers will be an important part of the role in order to provide information on Saab products and its capabilities and identify candidate opportunities for Saab and possible partnerships for the delivery of projects.
Your experiences and skills
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated success in the sale or delivery of integrated security systems with IP based systems or similar system integration projects. You will display capability in the marketing and presentation of security systems exhibiting exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Proven achievements in the development of new business and identification and qualification of opportunities will be looked upon favourably when selecting a preferred candidate and experience with the development and or management of security system design and installation projects or similar system integration projects will be highly regarded.
You will be self-motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision. A proven ability to work with others in a team environment will ensure ongoing success in this role.
