Saab Australia are looking for Information Security Specialists and we are now seeking expressions of interest.
You will raise awareness on security matters; provide advice both internally and externally through assessing customer environments, conducting risk assessments, monitoring information sources for emerging threats and assist with or performing IRAP activities.
Taking a lead role in supporting and defining internal project activities, you will be helping to protect and improve Saab’s information security credentials and competitive advantage across its defence and civil business.
You will be our information security champion and help grow the business by delivering and developing quality outcomes for external and internal customers, assisting with tenders, new business development and relationship management.
Your skills and experience
Ideally, you will hold appropriate industry information security certifications and have held a previous position where you have provided advice, guidance and quality outcomes to customers.
A strong customer focus with a high level of integrity and work ethic is a must.
Excellent communication skills and report writing
Strong knowledge of information security principles and frameworks:
- ISM, PSPF, ISO 27001, ISO 27005, NIST
One or more of the following certifications:
- CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, CRISC
- Preferably IRAP certified
- OSCP, CREST, GIAC or equivalent highly valued
Experience in the collection, presentation and analysis of information
An understanding of the current trends and developments in threats and information security
Demonstrated ability to develop fit for purpose solutions and advice to solve complex technical issues
Experience in the end-to-end security project life cycle – defining security requirements, high level architecture, detailed design & implementation
Experience performing security risk assessments
Proven ability in thinking laterally, identifying risks and applying analytical skills to develop appropriate options for integrated security controls
Experience in technical activities including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments with the ability to provide actionable and clear mitigation advice to our customers
