Saab Australia are looking for Software Engineers and we are now seeking expressions of interest.
Exciting opportunities for software engineers to work in multiple projects across the Maritime combat system domain. You have the opportunity to work across a number of different platforms and languages to support our customers' requirements.
Expressions of interest are welcome for both Junior and Senior Software Engineer roles
Your skills and experience
Experience in a similar role preferably within the Defence sector;
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering or computer based discipline;
Conducted software technical investigations and proof of concepts for solutions;
Undertaken all assigned software engineering activities in accordance with the identified project directives and standards;
Undertaken requirements analysis, develop detailed design and participate in reviews;
Undertaken the integration and validation of the design including contributing to the integration and validation plans and reports;
Supported qualification activities to ensure that the product meets all requirements including safety and regulatory requirements;
Developed software engineering related documentation in accordance with standards;
Provided regular status information to the relevant stakeholders as required;
Assisted in the development of project infrastructure such as tools deployment, metrics collection and process development
Experience in at least one of the following languages, Ada and/or Java
Experience with any of the following tools/technologies, Dockers, Jenkins, DDS, Git, Clearcase and Automated Test Frameworks.
A genuine interest and appreciation of large commercial and defence software intensive systems
