What you will be part of
Business Unit Training & Simulation develops and manufactures training system mainly towards military users. The offer ranges from laser simulators and management systems to virtual simulators and e-learning. The products are based on a combination of electronics, advanced application development, IT technology with databases, optics, analog and digital radio technology and precision engineering. Training & Simulation operates globally with 600 employees spread out on the local sites in Huskvarna, Helsingborg, Stockholm, Sweden, Germany, USA, England, Canada, Norway, Holland, the Czech Republic, Kenya and Finland.
The Industry 4.0 is an big trend and contries and companies around the world is closly monitoring the development. The question everyone is asking themselves is:
• How can we benefit from it?
• What do we have to do?
• How are our competitors and other companies using this?
The trend is in some areas a bit abstract and it is not that easy to realise what can be done.
• Describe smart production in general (Smart factory, Industry 4.0, Digitalisation etc)
• Analyse trends in todays industry
• Suggested way forward for Saab Training & Simulation
Your experiences and skills
We expect applicants to be Logistics Engineers, or similar, with understanding of Supply Chain.
The work package can be done by one or two students and the project is based at Saab Training & Simulation's office in Huskvarna, Sweden.
