TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS

FOR ENHANCED OPERATIONS

Technical publications and documentation form the fundamental basis for any operation. Saab provides a comprehensive library of publications in printed as well as electronic media.

We can also provide administration services for Component Maintenance Manuals and Service Bulletins. Our technical publication services empower our customers to support themselves.

Saab creates publication concepts and designs publication packages with a focus upon customer usability and cost-effective maintenance throughout a product´s life-cycle. We also produce training material.

All publications and manuals issued by Saab are in line with international industry standards. We are used to managing large volumes of information and to securing re-usable information structures.

Depending on your requirements, Saab can produce publications in your environment or use our own production environment.

We can deliver paper, pdf, SGML/XML and web based interactive manuals/publications (IETP) via CD/DVD or the Internet, as well as computer based training systems.

After delivery, Saab can maintain the publication package, or help you to maintain the publications at your premises.

Saab provides courses in Simplified Technical Languages for technical communicators. Our production environment is designed to work throughout the entire development cycle, from planning via production and delivery to long-term archiving.

Our skills base ranges from technicians with hands on experience, to systems engineers and highly skilled operating staff, all with linguistic skills and several years of experience in producing technical information.
