A wide range of spares provisioning services are supplied by Saab such as:
- Initial and recurring provisioning recommendations for spare parts assisting the customers in optimizing the spares holding from both a technical and economical standpoint. The recommendation is based on comprehensive optimization models and takes all relevant parameters into consideration such as system configuration and utilization, reliability, time for transport and replenishment. With the customer’s option, the provisioning recommendation may cover both repairable parts and expendables.
- Provisioning recommendation and consignment arrangements (lease) of spare parts on site with customers for Saab’s platforms and products as well as for certain other OEM commercial aircraft types.
- Initial as well as recurring sales and supply of expendable, repairable and proprietary parts for Saab-produced platforms and systems.
