Saab’s climate control systems are designed to reduce heat penetration in vehicles operating in deserts, tropical regions or other extremely hot environments. By combining our mobile camouflage systems with heat transfer reduction systems, we can provide solutions with the ability to protect personnel and sensitive equipment even under the most extreme conditions.
In hot climates, the temperature inside armoured vehicles can be a problem for the crew as well as for the electronic equipment. To reduce interior temperatures, and to improve the air-conditioning system’s efficiency, Saab’s HTR CoolCam system is an ideal solution. The system is used by many armoured forces around the world, reducing the heat build-up within armoured vehicles from solar loading and environmental heat while operating in hot climatic regions. HTR CoolCam can be integrated with all Saab’s Mobile Camouflage Systems. The HTR CoolCam can also be equipped with the Ballistic Protection System.
