Outdoors we have built an Open Area Test Site (OATS). It has a roof and can be heated. The OATS is primarily used for emissions testing in accordance with European standards.

In certain cases it can be impossible to use a shielded enclosure during testing, for example with very large objects and installations. Saab can then go to the customer with a specially-equipped vehicle that can conduct different types of testing directly on site. Because we are a Competent Body, we can evaluate and approve products for the European market even after such testing.
