Upgrades, Modifications and Integration

Saab offers some standard optional modifications and functions. In addition to these, customer specific modifications are also available as well as modifications to meet operational requirements of certain countries.

Examples of customer ordered modifications are:
- Interior reconfigurations
- Entertainment systems
- Local operational requirements such as ACARS solutions etc.
- Incorporation of alternative part numbers in Illustrated Parts Catalogues
- Aircraft performance changes such as narrow runway operation or high altitude takeoff and landing etc.
- Update of existing Service Bulletins to include specific aircraft serial numbers
- Engineering services for various needs

Saab holds a Design Organization Approval (DOA) and can thereby also supply Supplementary Type Certificate (STC) for non-Saab aircraft types.
