  • Saab at ADAS 2016

    Defence and security company Saab will exhibit at ADAS 2016, the Asian Defence, Security and Crisis Management Exhibition and Conference, in Manila, Philippines, from 28 to 30 September. Please visit us at Stand 1760.

  • The members of the Nomination Committee for defence and security company Saab have now been appointed. The members have been appointed based on the shareholder structure on 31 August 2016 in accordance with a resolution by the Saab Annual General Meeting. 

  • Saab Defense and Security USA has received an order from the U.S. Navy to provide the AN/SPN-50 (V)1 Shipboard Air Traffic Radar. The first award for the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the program includes the initial procurement of three radars over a four-year period.

    Defence and security company Saab have signed a contract on delivery of the new RBS 70 NG VSHORAD (very short range air defence system). The order has a total value of MSEK 378 and comprises supply and long-term maintenance and support of the RBS 70 NG, the latest version of the advanced Air Defence Missile System.

    Defence and security company Saab has received an order for RBS 70 missiles from the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia. Deliveries will take place during the period 2016-2017.

  • Defence and security company Saab has received the first order, under a two-year agreement recently signed with the General Tadeusz Kosciuszko Military Academy of Land Forces in Wroclaw (WSOWL), Poland, to deliver a high fidelity Tactical Engagement Simulation System (TESS). This initial order will provide the future officers with a proven, off-the-shelf and technically advanced training system which offers unrivalled interoperability options within NATO and beyond, whilst providing the capacity for long-term system growth.
