Group communication leads and develops communication at Saab. Editorial Communication is a unit within Group Communication and is responsible for managing Saab’s editorial work, both internal and external, as well as developing our digital platforms. As a Communication Manager, you will work side by side with other communication managers and report to Head of Editorial Communication.
The Editorial Team has the keys to Saab’s external and internal channels, including the intranet, external sites and social media. Saab has an ongoing conversation with our followers to inform, keep up an informed dialouge and listen to our stakeholders. We are looking for you who constanly can modernize this form of conversation.
In your role as Communication Manager in the Editorial Team you will work with the whole process from research, planning, production and then publishing in several formats and channels.
You will also monitor social media from a benchmark perspective and to evaluate Saab's communication. An understanding of statistics and analysis is important to develop Saab’s precence in all channels.
Your skills and experience
The Editorial Team is Saab’s newsroom. The team works closely with all parts of Saab to ensure we are communicating the right message at the right time in the right channel.
We expect you to have a strong social media competence and track record of succesful previous work. You will get the chance to improve Saab's communication helping develop communication with followers and influencers. Perhaps you have a background working in a news room previosly and are used to work through a planned calender. We would like if you can bring knowledge of graphics and moving images to the team, strengthening our visual Communication.
You are an experienced social media communicator with excellent writing skills in English. You have the knowledge of working with planned communication in multiple channels with colleagues and are used to handling the whole content process: from idea to evaluation.
We think you keep your ear close to the fibre optic cable, seeking out and applying the latest thinking, and that you are a creative and pragmatic person; full of ideas and knowing how to communicate effectively in a digital World.
