What you will be a part of
Service Management, a part of Group ICT, operates and monitors the global IS/IT within Saab. This includes, among others, data centre management, application management and the operation of secret environments.
The responsibility of the department is to support the local and global business organisations, and lead and manage the global service partners. Furthermore, the department is responsible for solving all incidents and problems within ongoing operations.
You will be part of the Service Management Support Office, which contains functions such as business relationship management, service integration, invoicing etc. The Support Office operates cross functional, supporting operations and our customers within the IT area.
Changes are constantly made in Saab’s computer environment and in your role as Communicator you will drive change management. As our end users expect up to date IT-related information, as well transparent communication, we want to strengthen the communication area. The communication area is cruicial in order to meet the global demands and the Saab IT strategies.
Your responsbility will be the communication strategy for the global setup, securing that Group ICT has a communication plan in place, which drives efficiency and contribues to getting closer to our customers. As the organisation is adapting to the global expectations, one important aspect is to work with branding and clarify the interfaces and expectations between the different stakeholders.
We strive for operational excellence, so it is important to satisfy the users’ needs for information required to work efficiently with our IT tools. You will work with all kinds of IT related information, drive simplicity and implement more efficient ways of working. Today our primary information channel is the Saab´s intranet, but as we see an urgent need of adapting to existing society changes, you will be able to influence our ways of working.
You will work independentbut also in close cooperation with stakeholders, like our service owners, but also external ones, like business areas.
Your skills and experience
You are an excellent communicator with a global mindset, preferably experience from global companies. You are creative and understand the need of transparency and like to think outside the box.
You are passionate about information and its spreading and have the ability to see the need of information. As a person you are organized, planning and structure is important for you. You have a business oriented mindset and can easily take in the full picture.
You have a general IT knowledge and an understanding of the user perspective. We expect you to have excellent skills in both Swedish and English, written and verbal.
You will be located in Linköping.
