When producing our brochures and folders the following guide should be used to ensure consistency across all of our communications.
Saab is the only sender that can appear on the front page with the logo in the upper left corner. The title panel can scale to accommodate different content, but must protrude from the top left or right of the photograph by the height the Saab badge. Content within the panel should also be padded by the same height and aligned to the left. When a brochure has a product title, this will be in yellow and all caps, with copy underneath in white. All brochures must be marked with an id, an edition number and a month and year on the last page.Multiple images are allowed. Make sure they are sorted in an asymmetrical manner.

The purpose of a datasheet is encourage the reader to learn more about our products, for example, to download the latest release, read our white papers, or compare it against our competitors.
The datasheet lists key facts, figures, statistics and specifications. It is written for a technical audience who want hard data so that they can make a better decision. The most useful datasheets help the reader come to a decision faster, for example, by highlighting how a new feature gives a technical advantage or how new components enhance the customers capabilities and allow the user to run their operations more efficiently. See the two examples of a back side of a datasheet.
The following is an example datasheet outline:

Posters are used as information boards, for quick product info and sometimes as giveaways. Thyey are be printed on high white, smooth paper. The paper should be chosen according to the purpose. Remember to always keep your message and text short on a poster. Its only function is to attract and raise interest.
Product facts and information are available from other places, such as brochures and product sheets for example. Follow the instructions in section How we communicate before starting production of posters if you have any doubt.
Posters are basically designed the same way as brochure covers:

Saab’s basic formats and templates match the European A standard. Always consider whether the production may end up as a pdf document as well (in which case the standard office ink jet or laser printers will have to suffice in the end).
Paper plays an important role in the visual identity. It is however not the most eye-catching. Saab works exclusively with clean white papers, without visible texture. The identity is expressed through consistency and simplicity.
The list of paper samples below comes from the European paper distributor Map. Local varieties are accepted, but must match these suggestions closely.
