Why did you apply to the graduate programme?

I applied to the graduate program because I had previously worked at Saab as a summer intern and I really enjoyed my time there. The graduate program felt like a really good opportunity to get a broader perspective of the company and to challenge myself and grow as a person.

Has your image of Saab changed during the program?

Yes it has! At first, I only associated Saab with the larger product areas like Gripen (and maybe the car company). However, after spending some time in the company you realize that this is only one part of the business and that there is a huge number of other interesting products and areas of operation.

What is it like to be a graduate at Saab?
Every day is different! You get to see and experience so much of the company. One big advantage of the graduate program is that there are very few mandatory tasks. You basically get to design your own schedule based on your future role and what you are interested in. It’s a very good and unique opportunity to get introduced to the company.
