Short Personal Summary

Cajsa is from the town Linköping, located in the south of Sweden. At the age of 16, she felt that she had enough of the same city and wanted an adventure, which led to one semester abroad in London. Why did you apply to the graduate program?

For me the Saab Graduate Leadership Program stood out the most from the crowd. It is so unique in the way that you as a graduate are exposed to so many different cultures, products, and projects since it is such an international and big company.

What is it like to work at Saab?

It is very thrilling and exciting. I am learning something new every day and am encouraged to challenge myself to perform better and grow as a future leader. It might sound cheesy but on Sunday evenings, I am longing for the Monday morning to come.

How do you think Saab’s graduate program differs from other company’s trainee program?

What stroke me first when entering the world of Saab was that it is very personal and that the people behind the positions and titles are the focus.  The program is surrounded by a great support system where you are encouraged to speak your voice and come with your own suggestions. I am also able to affect my year and the various rotations together with my manager, which I consider a great opportunity to help to steer the Saab Graduate Leadership Program in the direction that will be most beneficial for Saab and me.

Can you tell us more about your assignments abroad?

Everything is not yet planned for the whole year, but so far I have scheduled a rotation to Brazil where I will join the Market Area office to better understand how Saab do business in Latin America and to help out with the planning and execution of Saab’s participation in LAAD Defence & Security Expo.

What has been the most memorable experience so far?

That’s a tough one to answer! So far everything I’ve taken part of has been memorable in different ways. But if I have to pick one I would have to go with that time in Gripen Production I got to sit in a Gripen fighter and help out (mostly observe) when measuring modifications.

Can we contact you if we have additional questions?

Absolutely, you are more than welcome to contact me on LinkedIn or through my email
