Why did you apply to the graduate program?

To me it was the combination of Saab’s international footprint and the innovative product portfolio that made me consider Saab as a future employer. The graduate program felt like a great way into the company since it would allow me to embrace both of these aspects.

What is it like to work at Saab?

It’s great! Not only is it a humbling experience to get to see so much of the company in a relatively short time period, it is also extremely rewarding and I feel I have learned a lot already.

How do you think Saab’s graduate program differs from other company’s graduate programs?

What appeals to me the most about Saab’s Graduate Leadership Programme is the fact that it is up to me and my manager to tailor the graduate year to meet the demands of my future role, my own preferences and my manager’s expectations as we deem fit.

Can you tell us more about your assignments abroad?

My first assignment abroad will be together with Linda at our office in Singapore. It will involve traveling to some of our other offices in the Asia & Pacific region as well, and the purpose is get familiar with how Saab conducts business in an international context. I am still exploring different options for a second assignment abroad and not everything is decided yet, but South Africa, Canada and Brazil are all potential candidates.
