Your role
As a bid manager you coordinate all parts in the bid campaign. You are e.g. responsible for start-up meetings, coordination of involved organisations and managing all steps in the Winning Business process. This also includes completion of the bids and defining delivery plans and risk assessments for deliveries within Airborne Surveillance Business cases. 

Your interfaces will for example consist of:
• The bid organisation within Airborne ISR
• Responsible ILS-managers (Integrated Logistic Support)
• Responsible Product manager for the Aircraft modification
• Contributing SAAB Business Areas and Business Units 

The tasks will vary in both complexity and scope and we will together set your individual development plan according to your earlier experiences and interests.

Your profile
We are looking for a driven project manager with the ability to both see the big picture and understand the details. You are a great communicator with the ability to create trust and commitment among those you meet in your everyday work. For this job, you need to be organized and able to lead your own work as well as the work for colleagues in a bid project. We expect you to have hands on experience from bid operation in large projects. Preferably, we see that you have experience within the ILS-area.   
You are striving to identify possibilities, challenges and ways to be more efficient and you act on them. This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

Support and Services, a Business area within Saab, delivers services and integrated support solutions for cost effective support of systems and platforms during the complete life cycle.
Airborne ISR, one of the Business Units within Support and Services, is now in an intensive phase with several ongoing delivery projects and marketing activities for future business. We delivers Airborne Surveillance Aircraft with a life cycle perspective. We gather competences for coordination within development, delivery projects and the winning business process. Our business aims to establish and support the customer capability to operate and maintain systems like GlobalEye.
