What you will be a part of

Group Communication is a function that leads and develops communication at Saab. Brand Communication is a unit within Group Communication responsible for the Saab brand, production of marketing material and executing Saab’s presence at exhibitions globally.

It is an open, creative and very professional culture. Delivering important long-term strategies sit alongside the production of content and communication materials. We are now looking for a Production Leader/Brand Manager to join our team within Brand Communication.

Your role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced production leader to develop our production operations consisting of all kinds of moving images (movies), photos, CGI-productions and other digital and physical productions. You will work with different teams and be involved with all aspects of content production from start to finish, including locations, planning, crew staffing, scheduling, budgeting, production and post-production. It is a new role within our Brand Communication team so you will have the opportunity to create new processes and ways of working.

During a year, Saab produces many types of productions. Responsible managers are often colleagues in our Business Areas or Market Areas who have expertise in products and markets. With this recruitment, we want to start to develop a more comprehensive approach and build a better structure, in order to be able to make productions more efficient. One big challenge is keeping different productions aligned with our tone of voice and Corporate Visual Identity.

You will drive and inspire excellent communication in projects that have a significant impact on our business, the Saab brand and a potential global spread. The work involves trips of varying duration to different parts of the world and extensive cooperation with colleagues, suppliers and partners from different countries and cultures. You will inspire, motivate and lead colleagues and suppliers in this challenging environment. Securing cooperation with other parts of Saab's organisation is another important part of the job.

You will be part of the Brand Communication team and report directly to the Head of Brand Management.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for a person who has experience of working with communications at an international company or at a communication agency. You have good knowledge of project management and marketing communication. You are comfortable in managing large projects independently. You need excellent project management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure with the ability to prioritize and work to meet tight deadlines. You have good judgment and high integrity.

A relevant education is desirable.

You have the ability to think strategically and tactically as well as work operationally and working hands-on with productions. It is also essential that you can link communication efforts to business value.

You are fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written. Other language skills are also appreciated.

This position includes access to classified information, therefore you are required to conduct a security screening in accordance with the Protective Security Act and be approved for security clearance by an authority.
