Aeronautics is now facing a challenging journey I order to meet our customers' expectations and deliver on our orders. We must carry out high-quality purchasing and delivery to support Aeronautic's production strategy and program
strategy, as well as deliver and support in the supply chain in our customer flows. The challenge ahead for delivery and procurement lies within the source of production, establishing long-term supply chain functions for production in
Linköping as well as Brazil and the upcoming location in Indiana.
Our current category manager for raw materials and mechanics is moving on to other possibilities, we are now looking for the right candidate to fill this service. You will be part of the purchasing and supplier team for aeronautical structures and report to the Head of Purchasing Structures, Oriana Svensson.
In this role, you will lead a team with full category responsibilities from strategy development to its implementation. Key areas are to maintain and develop the supplier base that supports Saabs current & future business needs, manage risk, cost and demands. Your responsibility is to secure a supplier base with best in class terms and conditions, delivery capabilities meeting Saabs business needs. Successful achievement of implemented strategy that enables correct and
sustainable supplier/partner risk, cost and demand management whilst securing quality and compliance. The work includes everything from setting strategies and targets to actual supplier negotiations and signing of contracts.
We see it as a desirable merit that you have experience working as a category manager. You have to travel, so you have to be open to this. You have a valid driver's license (B)
