What you will be a part of
Group Insurance is responsible for defining, establishing and maintaining insurance programmes for the Saab Group. This includes defining levels of risk retention to provide cost efficient and compliant insurance solutions for Saabs global operations.
Reporting to Head of Insurance, you will be joining the Group Insurance team which today consists of three insurance specialists. Insurance is part of Saab Group Treasury, a central function with a global responsibility to coordinate the financial and insurance activities within the group.
As an Insurance Specialist you will be part of the management of the global insurance programmes and provide support to the business units on insurance related matters. You will also work directly with insurance brokers and underwriters.
You will be expected work with the various aspects of maintaining and developing insurance programmes including renewal and post renewal activities, global compliance issues, assisting with the completion of risk analysis, policy application and coverage improvements. As part of the Group Insurance team you will play an important role in shaping insurance strategy and processes to drive improvements to the total cost of risk.
Your skills and experience
You have relevant experience working with insurance, preferably from working with global insurance programmes for a corporation, insurance broker or other actor in the insurance market. You have a university degree in economics or law or equivalent business experience.
As a person you have a strategic approach and the ability to prioritise effectively. You have demonstrated your skill to take initiative and see what needs to be done. You have a service mindset, good communication skills in both Swedish and English and the ability to work in a team environment.
