Within HMI (Human-Machine Interaction) at Aeronautics, we focus on designing the user environment for the users of our products. Above all, we focus on the pilot's interaction and need of information in the Cockpit. A large part of our work is focused on the infrastructure that builds up the software architecture in this environment and that works with the related hardware, e.g. display, but we also focus on developing the symbols and user interface that the pilot interacts with on the displays.
We are now looking for you who is dedicated in software development and want to participate and lead the business as a line manager.
We seek you who are driving, committed and responsible and who enjoy working in teams. You have a great knowledge in software development and is interested in leadership and in developing your employees and yourself. As a person, you have good ability in communication, are result-oriented and want to work close together with your colleagues. As a line manager, you work both strategically and operationally, and your contact areas are both external and internal, national and international.
We would like you to have leadership experience and technical college education or equivalent, but great emphasis will be placed on personal fitness, as the service is based on trust and confidence.
Required skills (in bullet form):
· Education in Engineering/ Information Systems Analysis or Cognitive Science
· Thorough experience of software developing of complex technical systems
· Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written

· Understanding of usability and ergonomics

The line managers within HMI work closely together across boundaries, in close collaboration with our projects, where the single largest is Gripen E. Being a line manager is a multifaceted, fun and evolving mission. It is important that you value your employees as your most important resource and see their need for development at the same time as you feel commitment to your role as an employer with responsibility for, among other things, labor law, work environment and safety. You will be part of the technology area's management team where you are involved in developing the entire area's ability.
