Your role

As a manager for Windows and Apps you will be responsible for a software development team of about 15 persons. You will work in close cooperation with the team, product managers, steering groups and project managers to plan and lead the work done by the group to make sure that the group delivers according to commitment and that work follows established processes and methodologies.

You also take an active part in improving the way work is conducted to further improve performance of the group.

You are also responsible for personnel related matters such as securing the competence of the team, recruiting personnel as required; evaluate team member performance and setting salaries and working environment.

Your profile

Your background can vary, but you probably have a university degree with computer science background relevant for the role. Work experience as line manager, project manager or Team Leader for an agile team is desirable.

Applicants for this role need to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to lead and organize work

  • A good understanding of software development to understand the challenges and problems encountered during the process
  • Experience within agile software development
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, in both written and spoken language

The team you will join consists primarily of software and test engineers based in Huskvarna and has a large part in developing our cutting edge training systems mainly for military users.
