What you will be a part of

Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.

Airborne ISR (a Business Unit within Support & Services) is currently leading a number of ongoing major aircraft modification/integration Projects. We deliver Surveillance Aircrafts (AEW/MPA/MSA) and our business interacts with other Saab Business Areas demanding exceptional cooperation skills.

You will be doing your master thesis in an experienced but small team, working in a fast and expanding business focusing on continous improvement and business development. Your contribution will be important to ensure that our business will continue to meet all new requirements in ISO 9001:2015.

You will be reporting to the BU Risk Manager and the Staff Manage

Your role

Your challenges in this master thesis will be to:

  • Review and analysis of ISO 9001:2015.
  • Perform a GAP analysis (i.e. identify which of the requirements Airborne ISR not is meeting, with extra focus on the risk management requirements). The GAP analysis includes planning and performing of several quality reviews and risk management rewiews and interviews of key personnel. - Establish a cost effective action plan in order to close the identified gaps.

Your skills and experience

Studing Quality and/or Risk management at university level final year.
