What you will be a part of
The Vehicle Systems department is organized within Research and Development at Business
Area Aeronautics and consists of approximately 200 employees. You will be a part of the project office and manage different projects within the area.
The Vehicle Systems department is responsible for development of the vehicle systems in all products within Aeronautics. The Vehicle systems are for example the environmental control system, the fuel system, the landing gear system, the electrical power system and the aircrew equipment system. Today we are 13 project managers and we are now looking to hire.
As project manager at Vehicle systems you will be working with project management in a changing technical environment in a dynamic organization. Several projects are large and complex and include both design of hardware and software and/or procurement of products and services from Swedish or foreign suppliers. Some projects are smaller and more focused on concept or research studies.
The work is performed in teams with competent and supportive coworkers who quickly include you in the daily routines.
In our modern development environment you will be part of the development, in different ways, through all phases from concept and design to verification and validation. In your work you will have many interfaces to other systems and technical disciplines.
You will be able to develop your project management skills. We share experiences and knowledge within the company as well as attend external courses for continuous improvement.

You have experience of project management or similar. You have extensive experience of working with development of complex systems.
Documentation and communication are in both English and Swedish and therefore skills in both are required. Swedish citizenship is a requirement.
