What you will be part of

For more than a year, you will participate in an international programme that is uniquely designed to boost your career as well as to provide you with the right toolbox to develop as a leader. From day one, you will be appointed to a position with permanent employment at one of Saab’s sites worldwide.

Saab IT is a global business partner function and co-workers within Saab IT can be organised centrally at Group ICT, within a business area/unit or at another organisational unit within the Saab group. As part of Group ICT, the Digital Transformation Office is a small team that drives digitalisation within Saab. Our focus lies on internal processes where we aim to both optimize current ways of working as well as transform operations and enable new business by using digitalisation, automation and AI.

Your role

During the programme, you will get the opportunity to create an overall understanding of the company that will prepare you for an exciting future together with us. Your development will be aligned with Saab’s business goals and the programme will enable you to contribute to our business and take part in actual projects.

At the Digital Transformation Office you will work closely with various parts of both Saab’s business and Saab IT (including partners and suppliers). You will be involved in finding digitalisation opportunities by matching business analyses with opportunities that the new technologies bring. You will participate in early phases of digitalisation initiatives such as Proof of Concept work and innovation activities. You will also be involved in supporting various digitalisation projects with the purpose to introduce new technologies and solutions within the Group ICT product portfolio and implementing solutions in Saab’s business.

 

Your skills and experience

As we are looking for future leaders, you need to have a genuine interest in people. You understand that collaboration and curiosity are essential success factors for a business to grow and for people to thrive at their workplace. You are flexible, humble and spread positive energy. You have an overall business understanding, possess a strategic thinking and deliver excellent results. Your motivation and commitment help you, and people around you, to perform on a daily basis. To apply for this program you have a maximum of 2 years work experience.

Your educational background is a MSc in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent. You should have a strong interest in digitalisation technologies such as automation and AI and how they can be used to create a more effective business. Some knowledge in business case calculations and project management is desired.

Some positions have tasks including defense secrecy. In such circumstances you are required to conduct a security screening in accordance with the Protective Security Act and be approved for security clearance by the authority.
