Due to expansion, we are now searching for two second line Managers for the section Communications.
As second line Manager you will be responsible for a section of approximately 70 employees, including three to five Group Managers. You will lead your Group Managers as a team and be a member of the department’s management team. The section is responsible for the execution of all projects within the department Communications.
As a member of the department management group, you will support the total view of the organization and business. You will work and cooperate with the other managers to reach the organization’s goals and perform both strategic and operational tasks. Coaching, empowering and leading your employees by value driven leadership as well as recruiting competent personnel will be key tasks in order to provide teams and competence to all projects within Communications. In order to succeed, it will also be important to identify cross-domain, cross product and cross section collaborations. As manager, you will be responsible for health and environmental issues for your staff.
Your job will contain, but is not limited to:
· Providing the required resources with the right skills
· Responsibility for the sections utilizations rate
· Responsibility for the cost center budget
· Methodology development within the section
· Sub-process ownership for IPC
· Strategy and goals for the section
· Development of the business together with the other functions within the department
· Planning and setting up a structure way of working
· Team development – create a performance driven culture
· Active membership in the Management team
· Responsibility for the team reporting
