Do you want to develop your role as a Strategic Buyer? We are looking for a person who is driven with strong communication and cooperation ability to drive commercial and business requirement with our supplier base.
You will support the business areas' projects and programs with commercial responsibility and continuously evaluate the market's competitiveness in the current supplier portfolio. You will have the opportunity to manage your own category and / or supplier base which may include services, materials or components. As a strategic buyer you will also be responsible for negotiating, actively managing and further developing our supplier agreements. The role gives you the opportunity to build an extensive network, both internally and externally.
- Establish and continuously develop strategies for your supplier base or category
- Accountable for supplier capability and performance to meet Saab business requirements
- Secure agreement and commercial terms and conditions with suppliers reflecting our business requirements
- Purchases and perform negotiations within your supplier base
- Identifying and qualifying potential suppliers
- Secure and follow up on goals and targets within your supplier base
- Run cross-functional teams with focus on efficiency, proactivity and cost savings

To succeed in your role you are experienced in the following areas of expertise; procurement, negotiations, agreements and business analysis. Relevant university and / or professional experience in purchasing is a demand. The role often involves acting as a part-time project manager, leadership skills will be highly valued. English knowledge is mandatory and mastering an additional language is a plus.
