The work is developing with focus on signal processing for the radar warner and jamming, both being complex real-time systems. The tasks consists of specifying, architecture, design, programing, integration, documentation and a lot of trouble shooting. Our SW and test environment is mostly written in C++ and a small part of high-level functionality written in Java.
We work targeted towards creating high-performing, accountable and effective teams and thus uses appropriate agile methodology in order to develop our systems and test environment.

You have a bachelor degree in Computer science, Electronics, Engineering Physics or similar with good knowledge about programing. Competence in C++, real-time systems and Matlab is meritorious. You like problem solving and trying new things in embedded systems.
As a person, you are driven, engaged and creative, at the same time thrives to work in teams and strive to fulfill goals set on you. Du should be curious how your part fit in the big picture and how that gives a complete system.
You have a natural drive and ambition, high level of teamwork and takes responsibility. Earlier experiences from Scrum, Kanban or other agile methods are a plus.
As the job means tight cooperation with the other members of the team you will be located at our facility in Järfälla.
As we are an international organization, it is also important that you have excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

What you will be a part of
The department Signal Processing is an interfunctional very competent and driven group that develops the front-end parts of Saab’s radar warner and ESM/ELINT systems. This includes functions for detection and characterization of radar signals as well as jamming techniques for self-protection. The system is used to keep situational awareness for the pilot at all times which puts high demands on reliability and real-time performance.
