We are now looking for a System Engineer for our Radio Monitoring Solutions (RMS). You will belong to the Production and Delivery Organisation which is responsible for the smooth handling of our customer contracts. At SMT, the PD Department consists of System Engineering, Project IT, Documentation and Training as well as a Hardware Team. You will be part of the System Engineering team which currently consists of 7 engineers with the aspiration to grow further.

As the System Engineer for our Radio Monitoring solutions your task is to conceptual develop and configure systems for monitoring and direction finding according to customer requirements. This work includes the requirement breakdown and technical overview of the systems. Furthermore you support the system setup, installation and integration. In addition you are responsible to provide the system test definition for the customer acceptance testing together with the customer. Supporting the onsite installation and setting to work is another prerequisite. You will also be able to provide trainings to our customers.
We are looking for a person with the ability to penetrate complex issues and to work well with different people in order to get the best out of a team. You enjoy working in an environment where you collaborate within a creative team to find the optimal solutions for our customer systems.
You have a technical degree preferably with focus on electrical Engineering, communication Engineering or alternatively similar qualifications with a sound background in system engineering. Ideally you have expertise in the RF area as well as knowledge in the area of networking technology.
Furthermore you have experience in working with Linux and Windows systems.
Your workstyle can be described as self driven, analytical, flexible, reliable and team oriented.
Strong communicative skills in English and ideally German both verbally and in writing is a requirement. Intercultural affinity and the willingness to travel complete your profile.
