Apply for job!

An Aircraft Engineer with a life cycle focus to develop and support the missions systems integrated in Special Mission Aircrafts.

Your role

Our task in the Engineering Office is to enable our customers to perform their aircraft missions by supporting the mission systems. We have developed and installed several mission systems, such as cooling systems, power supply systems, audio systems, fuel systems and avionics systems, on modified Saab 340/2000 and Bombardier Global 6000 aircraft. We define alternative solutions when spare parts are no longer available on the market, as well as manage systems upgrades, technical investigations and technical support.

In our team, you will be able to affect your own work with great responsibility. You will work broadly, taking part of the entire process, from concept to deliverable product, handling everything from requirements to design, development and verification. You will also be part of our process development and ways of working.

All days here are different. The tasks will vary in both complexity and scope and we will together set your individual development plan according to your earlier experiences and interests.

Your profile

We are looking for an engineer with technical broadness to take responsibility for specific mission systems. To succeed, you need to build an understanding for how the systems work and how the components are integrated. Experienced colleges will support you in your task.

We believe that you are a curious person with a big interest in technology and that you have a Master in Engineering or equivalent, in a relevant technical area. Since the work involves many interfaces, we are looking for a candidate who is highly cooperative and communicates in a natural manner.

You are striving to identify possibilities, challenges and ways to be more efficient and you act on them. For the job, you need to be organized and able to lead your own work.

What you will be part of

Airborne ISR is a business unit within business area Support and Services with the purpose to integrate sensor systems i.e. radar, heat cameras and other functions in aircrafts. It means individual adaptions for the specific customer need. The modified aircrafts are operated to get awareness of different situations, both in the air, on ground and at sea. After delivery to our customers, we assist with support solutions with high availability around the world.

We are now looking for additional colleges in our new department, Engineering Office, to assist us in our task.

Does the job catch your interest? Apply! Due to the summer holiday, we will start going through the applications in mid-August.
