What you will be a part of
Saab Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and traffic management systems.
You will be located at Saab Surveillance (Järfälla), which will provide supervision concerning the development and provide necessary software tools.
Saab Surveillance builds, among other things, ground-based air-defence systems used by the armed forces to detect and identify threats in the air space. Such systems typically contains a situation picture in which operators can detect threats, either manually or with help from automatic threat detection software.
The task is to help system operators finding anomalies in the situation picture based on radar data, tracking data and other available information. Work method is to use our current anomaly detector, built on Conformal Prediction, by generating different relevant simulated scenarios and evaluate the result with recorded data. Focus will be to find new features or algorithms that can improve the anomaly detectors ability to find relevant anomalies.
