Avionics Systems develops and manufactures qualified electronics, mechanics and software for demanding applications in aircraft and helicopters as well as some applications for land vehicles. Many of these products are developed in collaboration with other parts of Saab or external partners. Most of our projects are carried out in an international environment and we supply products for two of the world’s largest aircraft manufacturers, Airbus and Boeing.Product area Integrated Avionics develops, produces, maintains and supports the products over the complete life cycle.

Customers include international aircraft manufacturers and their tier 1 suppliers and partners. Our growth ambitions in system technologies enhances the importance of skilled system engineers, interested to understand market drivers, its legislations and how these are adapted into great products and by that supporting our customer concept offer in Advanced Vision and Awareness Systems.
You will be an important and vital part of the Display Systems unit located in Huskvarna, Linköping and Järfälla.

As a Verification Validation Lead Engineer, capable of quickly becoming proficient in the application of our operational systems, you will be involved in proposasl, supporting system requirements, design, integration and leading testing, acceptance and warranty phases for verification and validation aspects, all of this in close cooperation with production.
Your skills and experience
An excellent analytic ability with the skills how to work holistic without letting go of the details.
MSc in a relevant field, preferably within aerospace, electronics, electromechanics, optics with at least 5 years experience from an equal relevant filed.
Excellent knowledge and communication skills in both Swedish and English.
Leadership and planning abilities.
Preferably experience with civil aviation certification as well as installation in aircrafts.
Some travels can be expected.As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to
participate in a background investigation and/or successfully demonstrate eligibility to receive applicable Government security clearance.
