Saab’s next generation Digital Tower selected for Vilnius Airport in Lithuania

Oro Navigacija (ON) selects Saab to provide its advanced Digital Tower solution for Vilnius Airport, making it the first capital airport to fully adopt this technology. The solution enhances operational efficiency and flexibility, enables centralised air traffic control for additional regional airports, and supports the long-term development of Lithuania's aviation sector.

Saab receives order for UTAAS sight- and fire control system

Saab has received an order for the Universal Tank and Anti-Aircraft System (UTAAS) sight- and fire control system for Combat Vehicle 90 (CV90) from BAE Systems Hägglunds. The order amounts to SEK 880 million and was booked in the first quarter 2025.

Saab receives order for RBS 70 NG from Latvia

Saab has signed a framework agreement with the Latvian Ministry of Defence for the short-range ground-based air defence system RBS 70 NG and received an order within the agreement. The order value is SEK 2.1 billion and deliveries will take place 2026-2030.

Serial production of high-tech sensor as Saab expands in Finland

Serial production of the passive electronic warfare sensor Sirius Compact has recently started at Saab’s new production facility in Tampere, Finland. The opening was attended by Finland’s Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister, Riikka Purra, and Mayor of Tampere, Kalervo Kummola.

Saab receives order for additional Live Training equipment from U.S. Marine Corps

Saab has received a contract modification award from the U.S. Marine Corps for additional Marine Corps Training Instrumentation Systems (MCTIS) equipment. The order value for this award is USD $37 million (SEK 375 million) with deliveries taking place from 2025 to 2027.
