What you will be a part of

Saab Kockums provides design, construction and in-service support for advanced naval systems such as surface combatants and submarines to the Swedish Armed Forces and other customers worldwide. Our product portfolio consist of the air-independent Stirling system, mine countermeasure systems and submarine rescue systems amongst other. Saab Kockums operate in Karlskrona, Malmö, Muskö, Järfälla and Singapore.

Do you want to conquer the world with us? We are looking for a senior commercial manager who will be responsible for the commercial part of new international contracts.

You will become part of Saab Kockum's new quotation office with focus on increasing international business for submarines and surface vessels.


Your role

As a senior commercial manager you will conduct proposal preparation, pre-contract data collection, negotiation and administration of government, commercial and international contracts. You will also handle reviews and contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, prime contract specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements.

You will report to the head of the bid centre and work closely with the product sales manager. The job is located, preferably, in Malmö otherwise Karlskrona and includes about 30 days of travel.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for you who have a strong sense of ownership! You who are willing to go the extra mile in order for us as a team, reaching our goals in order to make the world a safer place! In order to be able to deliver in this role you need to have worked at least a few years as a commercial manager and have relevant experience in contract management from complex international business environments. You need to have a solid business understanding and the ability to focus on the important commercial items in a contract. We need you to have a good understanding of the effective conduct of negotiations discipline’ to secure contracts with good margins and terms & conditions and an excellent understanding of legal documents.

As a person, you are an excellent problem solver with strong analytical thinking, are self-driven, flexible and a true team player. Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English is a requirement as well as you holding a driving license.
